Custom Tattoo Design in Kathmandu

A custom tattoo is artwork developed for one person rather than picked from a wall of flash. It starts with your idea and is shaped through conversation with the artist.

People arrive with different things. Some bring a photograph of a grandparent. Some bring a sentence, a place, a date, a song lyric. Some simply know how they want the tattoo to feel. All of those are a starting point.

The artist's job is to listen first, then translate. We ask questions about meaning, placement, size and how the piece should age. Only then does the design begin.

What this involves

How it works

Your Idea

You do not need a finished design. A reference image, a rough sketch, a symbol, a piece of writing or a conversation is enough to begin.

Consultation

We talk through meaning, references, placement and scale. If an idea will not hold up as a tattoo — because of detail, size or the way skin ages — we say so and explain the alternatives.

Design Development

The artist develops the concept into a tattoo-ready design. Lines are simplified where they need to be, and the composition is built for the body it will live on.

Placement

Placement changes everything. Curvature, muscle, sunlight and the way skin moves all affect how a design reads. We place the artwork with you before the session.

Tattoo Session

The session is calm and organised. We set up fresh, work at a considered pace and check in with you throughout.

Aftercare

You leave with clear written aftercare guidance and a way to reach us if you have questions while it heals.
